ACTING, PERFORMANCE & FILM CLASSES
Offering quality courses since 1995
At SKAM School of Performing Arts, we offer carefully curated classes that focus on imagination, collaboration and self-expression. In a supportive environment, students are encouraged to express themselves and cultivate their sense of fun and creativity with their peers. We see every day how the Performing Arts has a positive impact on children’s mental health, strengthens the communities we live in, and builds students up to become creators and leaders.
Our professional teaching artists teach a wide variety of skills – acting, film making, screen writing, improv, set design and more. As a company, Theatre SKAM aims to support emerging artists and we do the same for our students. We offer unique opportunities, such as the SKAM Young Company where students can audition to be main stage performers at the annual outdoor SKAMpede performance festival.
We love theatre and we hope you fall in love with it, too!

We are all impressed with how you (and the kids) adapted to 2020 “live theatre” now online! My daughter had a fantastic time in the fall! You have amazing programs.
I am so impressed with the class. My son just loves Vanessa and how she made each session an event to remember. I can see how his confidence is growing and he seems to be developing his own voice and sense of humour. Thank goodness for Theatre SKAM!!
